The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is the process by which non-Catholic adults become members of the Catholic Church. The process consists of study of the Gospel, nurturing of ones relationship with God, familiarization with church teaching and practices, professing faith in Jesus Christ and his Church and receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
